Plymouth 3K will feature:* A DPI-certified teacher with years of experience* Heggerty Phonemic Awareness Curriculum, which aligns with the district 4K curriculum and develops phonemic awareness skills, letter and sound recognition, and language awareness* Age-appropriate social and emotional development* Fun and play-based learning opportunitiesStudents must be potty-trained and at least 3 years old as of Sept. 1, 2024. Parents can choose either Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday classes, which will meet from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Horizon Elementary School, 411 S. Highland Ave. Classes will begin the week of September 9 and run through the week of May 21. No class the weeks of November 25-29, December 23-27, Dec 30-Jan 3 and March 24-28. Also, No Class on Monday January 20, Tuesday January 21, Monday April 21, and Tuesday April 22.  Fee is $1,100 for the entire school year. Payment may be paid in full upon enrollment or in four payments. $300 payment due on enrollment, $300 payment due by June 1st, $300 payment due by August 1st and final $200 payment due by November 1st. Vinyasa YogaAn all levels yoga class focusing on breath and movement.  We challenge the body by toning muscle and building core strength through a sequence of poses.  Some yoga experience is recommended, although modifications will be suggested. Gentle YogaA yoga class focusing on calming the mind and body. We slowly and mindfully move through poses, emphasizing breath and alignment, building core muscle, and relieving stress. This class will increase your heart rate with low to medium impact intervals using weights, resistance bands, and stability balls with a direct focus on core strengthening.
