Pine Needle & Sweet Grass Basketry

Learn to make a coiled basket using pine needles and sweet grass. Spend a fun day exploring the creative possibilities of this traditional skill as you design and complete your basket. You will be guided and instructed on how to coil and stitch a simple basket as well as integrate other materials into your basket, such as black walnut hull, pine cone, beads, and more. This class is a great opportunity for both beginners and intermediate weavers.

More info: Bring a small pair of scissors, a thimble, and (if needed) reading glasses. All other supplies are provided
